The location is very close to the station, if a little hard to find at first. The signposts are very useful although I accidentally ended up at the Italian restaurant once. There is a good breakfast and the staff are eager to offer you a hot drink, although they seemed to keep running out of sliced bread for the toaster. The room was fabulous with a bath in the en-suite and a balcony. There was quite a good view of the Matterhorn from the balcony, although it was partly obscured by an electricity line.
The signposts seemed to run out close to the hotel, although the route was pretty obvious. Also, I was woken up by the 7:00 by the tannoy for the Gornergrat Express.

The staff were incredibly helpful in ensuring we got to see as many of the unique things to Zermatt as we could in the short time we were there. They told us about the Old Town street and also the Goat walk in the morning and afternoon so we were able to experience both. The rooms were a good size, comfortable and clean and we even had a glimpse of the Matterhorn.
The location is exceptional especially coming straight from the train station. We did not have to carry our bags through the streets. It was literally across the road from the station and next to the train to the Matterhorn and within walking distance to all the restaurant and shops.
Our room did face the train station and initially I was worried but it did not affect us at all.
Breakfast range was great with plenty of options for everyone.

This is such a cosy family-run hotel! We got assigned a room with partial Matterhorn view, which was amazing! The room was spacious and clean. The free breakfast came with limited options but was such a great thing to have still. If you came out from the right exit at Zermatt train station, the hotel was literally 3 mins away, which was super convenient.
