The person who checked us in was amazing and he made us feel prepared and very safe. We had a wonderful time. The view of the Matterhorn and the herd of blackface sheep nearby felt so beautiful.
The breakfast was beyond great and having a heated pool onsite plus a free-to-use washer dryer downstairs was amazing!!!!
I am sharing a picture of the Matterhorn from our balcony and a picture of the blackface sheep. Each sheep wears a cowbell and you can hear every step they take. They are adorable!!
The only thing we didn’t like having to leave….. it was so fun there!!

Good breakfast with a good selection. The chef and staff were very friendly and professional, and they kindly prepared fresh fried eggs for us on request. The reception staff were also welcoming, friendly and professional.
We loved the location. We didn’t realise until the following morning that we could see the Matterhorn sunrise from our room — what a wonderful surprise!
We paid nearly CHF 500 for a stay of only around 12 hours, so we expected a much higher standard of comfort. One of the beds for the double occupancy was a sofa bed, which was disappointing. There were also no additional or spare pillows or quilts available in the room, which made the sleeping arrangements less comfortable than expected for the price.

The location was perfect , close to station + city centre . Liked the Swimming pool and sauna . Breakfast was very lovely
My 15 year old son couldn’t use the sauna, which was a shame as it operates on NO swimsuits policy . For myself was also uncomfortable to keep changing my swimsuit every time between swimming pool and sauna.

The spa facilities and breakfast were top notch.
The room was large with door separating bedroom from sofa sleeper.
We were in southeast corner room on 3rd floor. Loved our balcony facing south. Had full view of Matterhorn from the balcony and captured beautiful sunrise photos both mornings.
We ended up appreciating the location. It was close to the train station (but no noise issues) which worked quite well for us. I also liked that we only had to go in one direction to see Zermatt. Finally, the Gornergrat cable car was also quite close.
There was some construction but it really didn’t detract much from our experience.
