The host was always reachable via WhatsApp, so the communication was top. Another great Amenity is the AC.
The location was also perfect. Right on the marina, most things in Horta were reachable by foot and parking was on the street right in front of the apartment. Not once did we have a problem finding a parking spot.
Extra plus: the view of Pico
The toilet seat had a yellow (presumably urin) stain on the front inside.

Location was great!
Airco very welcome, big bathroom and shower, we could get in the apartment before official check in time

Great location to enjoy Faial!
All curtains in bad shape! We arrived the island early morning and asked at what time the room was available? The answer was at 09:30, we waited 3 hours with a kid and all our luggage at the street till 12:30 without any feedback!
The kitchen is poorly equipped!

The view on Pico might be good, but it'll probably be foggy.
We had a beetle in the room for the whole stay. It can happen, but it shouldn't. The apartment is on the main street, easy to reach from the harbor buy really noisy until late in the night. Receptionists are not there the whole time, you have to call and wait. Overall, for that price you can find something better in Horta
$$$$
