Excellent breakfast, fresh food, coffee provided immediately.
Dinners were also very good. Very interesting menu, freshly cooked. Never any delays. Staff highly friendly and efficient.

We stayed here for two days while exploring Switzerland by train and hiking. Manfred was very welcoming and a good host. We ate at the restaurant two days which was very popular with locals and visitors and the food was excellent with several local Swiss specialties on the menu. Breakfast was similarly excellent. Super location in the centre of the village with one of the walks to the Oberalp Pass starting just outside.

Everything was as you would expect from a German style gasthaus. Friendly family run pub/ restaurant - food was traditional local and good.
The 2 flights of stairs - no lift possible in old building
