This is a beautiful historic property that is extremely well maintained and inviting. Our host was very knowledgeable about its history and she was so friendly and helpful! Breakfast was delicious with so many options, prepared and served by our host in a relaxed and friendly manner. We stayed in the Happy Trails Room and the bed was quite comfortable. The decor is lovely and the many amenities provided were great. One small inconvenience is that the bathroom is quite small and does not have any counter space, although there is one small shelf above the sink to place personal items. However, this did not diminish our time at the Inn and we would love to return for another stay soon.

What a lovely place to get away. The building had quaint charm and my room was cozy and welcoming. All I needed for a fire was ready to go, bed and bedding was luxurious and comfortable, coffee for the morning with REAL creamer in the fridge.
The dining room and common sitting room was inviting and decorated beautifully. My made to order breakfast was healthy and delicious.
Biggest treat was the personable staff. True locals that treated me like a new friend.

This was the most beautiful and most pet friendly inn I think I’ve ever stayed at. Amazingly wonderful if you’re travelling alone with your pup.
