The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very helpful finding food for a traveller who is celiac. The room was neat and quiet with a comfortable bed. the AC was adequate. The only complaint was it would have been nice to have a small fridge.

The property was in an excellent location close to so many sites which made it easy to walk or tuk tuk everywhere. Staff was pleasant enough. What was different for us was not having coffee available in the morning. We are not breakfast eaters before we wonder off but do want/need our coffee and we assumed that we could grab a cup without paying the 15 Euro a day for a whole breakfast. We would gladly have paid something for coffee but we were told if we touched anything it was 15 euros. If this is the case it would be nice if that was explained prior to booking on their site or Expedia’s.

Great location for a visit to Lisbon. Area is very walkable. Staff was very accommodating.

The staff was very helpful. We didn't know that there wasn't an elevator. That needs to be made clear ahead of time. However, a staff member helped us take our luggage up to the third floor. The WIFI signal was excellent. Breakfast is not included. You must pay for it. The window view pictured in the listing is not typical for the rooms. Our room and the halls were painted with very dark colors that were not pleasant. The location is on a busy, noisy street but good for exploring the Alfama district. The taxi service provided for getting to the airport was a little high but the young driver was excellent.
