This place has real rustic charm and made a perfect home base for our hiking trips. It’s an older building with a lot of history, so sound does carry between rooms and you’ll hear your neighbors. If you’re a light sleeper, bring a sound machine and you’ll be all set.
The setting itself is peaceful and quiet. The on-site restaurant serves home cooked food, and the customer service across the board was outstanding. I forgot my playing cards at home and the front desk staff lent me a deck without hesitation, which was such a nice touch.
We brought our dog and my son and everyone had a great time. This is a wonderful stop if you’re traveling with family or pets.

The property contacted us before arriving. We were able to let them know we'd arrive late at night, so they left the key near the room for us to get it without the need to meet anyone at the desk. They also allowed us a later checkout as there was no further reservation for our room.
The bed was comfy, large shower with plenty of warm water, and a small heater for the room.
It was nice and quiet, small, but had everything we needed for a good night's sleep.
The wifi worked fine as well.
Nothing, it was great
