The property is part of a large resort residence. Therefore there is everything you need, including supermarket, restaurants, pool, spa and even a ski school! it is very dynamic, with many people and direct access to the slopes. It is super convenient for kids, since they take ski classes right at the resort and there is a fun pool for them. At the same time the apartment was very quiet and relaxing.
It has a covered parking and most of the buildings and facilities are connected underground through the parking.
Tignes is a gear place to ski since it has great weather and snow.
The host is also extremely accommodating and very fast to respond.
The heating is centrally managed, and the apartment was very cold particularly in the afternoon and then late at night. They turn the heating on around 7 am and during the morning it was okay, but then it was off for most of the afternoon until around 6 pm. then it went off around 9 pm and by 5 am the room was extremely cold. And then you woke up again to a warm apartment around 7 am. So make sure you bring very cosy pyjamas and warm clothes if you come in the winter time. Also the pool was on the cool side, the Jacuzzi was lukewarm and sometimes even cold but then you can really warm up in the sauna. In general it seems like they were on on energy saving plan, and I am not sure if it is due to the energy crisis in Europe, or if it’s just the way it works.
