Perfect location and superb restaurant. Heavy bed blanket and inability to control thermostat in the room made sleeping uncomfortable. Room and hotel were very clean and nviting.
Hotel and restaurant are run separately making the situation a bit awkward. Waiting staff personal discussions too loud and annoying. Heavy bed blanket and temperature control by hotel staff. No hotel car parking available although promised. Needed to park in street 10 minutes away and haul luggage.

Great location. Staff was friendly and offered a welcome drink. Central to most sites in the city. Room was very small. Easily accommodates one person but may be tight for two.
AC was noisy and didn't ever seem to reach the temperature it was set at. No window in room.

The hotel has a fantastic central location beside the Ljubljanica River, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, major construction immediately next door seriously affected our stay. There was extremely loud drilling, hammering and other construction noise from around 7am, including significant noise on both Friday and Saturday morning. At times our room was effectively unusable for resting or relaxing.
The main issue is that we were not informed about the construction when booking or at check-in. The photos show how extensive and close the construction is to the hotel. We subsequently found other recent reviews mentioning the same noise, suggesting this is an ongoing issue.
We raised the issue with reception and asked whether we could be moved to a quieter room, but were told the hotel was fully booked and this wasn't possible. Their only subsequent offer of compensation (after I raised the issue in writing and emailed on videos with the noise) was a complimentary lunch after we had checked out, when we were already travelling to Bled and unable to take it up. They declined to offer any refund or financial compensation.
The location is excellent, but I would strongly recommend checking the construction situation before booking. Had we known about it, we would not have chosen this hotel.
