Fantastic location. Very easy to walk to from the bus station and also as a central base to then explore the city. Clean, well lit, modern and spacious rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. We booked a double bed however this was not the case upon arrival, unable to change rooms as fully booked so waited in reception for a while until housekeeping was able to place a mattress topper and convert the two singles into a large double. We were very grateful. Reception were also able to hold our luggage on our last day after check out as our flight was not until later that night.
We paid extra for a city view and unfortunately regretted it. Lovely view however extremely noisy despite being on the 4th floor. View onto the square also looks onto a bus stop and steps where people seem to gather and drink, very loud unfortunately and disrupted our sleep. We ignored bathroom comments from other guests however after staying, can see the concerns raised. Quite a peculiar set up with no enclosed space for a bathroom and no window/ventilation for the toilet cubicle proved quite difficult! The motion sensor light in the toilet cubicle also meant keeping the door closed unless you wanted the light constantly going on which meant no freshening of the space until we went out. Fantastic electronic display outside all bedrooms to communicate if you don’t want housekeeping or to be disturbed however despite having our symbol switched on, we were left a note and told housekeeping had made several attempts. We were more than happy to save time and resources and not have anything done.

Hotel was awesome! Fantastic location just 2 minutes from the "old town' area. Hotel was clean, staff were amazing, and room was large and nice. We will DEFINITELY stay there again when we return!!!!

Comfy bed. Excellent location.
There is no separate bathroom, it's within the bedroom. There's no privacy for any bathroom activity you might not want to be on display for and although you can't see the toilet, you can HEAR EVERYTHING happening in there. Not hugely romantic!
The 'double bed' was two single beds pushed together, that moved apart if you tried to roll over to their side. Not hugely romantic either.
