Karaksa Hotel Colors Tokyo Yaesu

We got in early and therefore hotel held our luggage. When we got in, they had already transferred our luggage to our room. Great hotel with great amenities and few that allowed 4 per room. Another plus... location was within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

The hotel was very clean & neat. The staff were very helpful & kind & greeted us each time we came back to the hotel. I loved the fresh, bright colors. There was a Lawson convenience store right next door on the street & a pharmacy on the next block. There is a very nice lounge on the 2nd floor with some snacks & drinks. There is also a sake bar, for which you get one complimentary drink per person. This lounge area is really cute, and has a small place for toddler aged kids to play. The location really can't be beat for the price, as this hotel is a straight walk down the street from the Yaesu exit of Tokyo station. You can literally walk to any number of restaurants, shopping, 2 different Pokemon Centers: Nihonbashi Takashimaya & Tokyo Station), and transportation to anywhere in Japan--right from the front door of this hotel. The Yaechika underground shopping mall has an entrance right in front of the hotel. The bathrooms are quite tiny. The toilet room is separate from the shower, which is nice, but the shower essentially opens onto the main room & the sink is in the main room unless you close 2 pocket doors creating a little cubicle to hide them. I would have gone for a room with a Japanese style bath (shower room with a tub in it for soaking after you shower) if that had been an option. This & the fact that the beds were quite firm (like sleeping on an upholstered couch) were the only 2 things I would've changed. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Very clean, but smaller room

Very clean room, good location
