There was no breakfast as part of my booking -
however the cooking facilities were good and the
supermarket across the road convenient for buying everything needed to feel at home.
The hotel also had washing/drying machines.
The head room past the cooking facilities into the bathroom was injurious for me and could be
improved.

Location outside touristic hotspots, absolutely wonderful okonomiyaki restaurant nearby, supermarket across the street, bus stop right in front of the hotel.
Staff was very friendly!!
it took a very long time to commute to the main touristic sights and main station in particular as large suitcases are not allowed in city buses.
The beds were very uncomfortable, very hard. The futon beds were of a noticeable worse quality than experienced in Japan before. The room was smaller than it appeared in the pictures.

Chambre grande et très propre, personnel accueillant.
J’ai pris la chambre avec le futon, ça me faisait mal au dos car on dort presque sur le sol dur, pas trop d’amorti avec le futon, ce qui est attendu mais j’ai mal dormi. Cela dépend de vos préférences. Pas de fenêtre, pas de fontaine à eau ce qui m’est le plus important… et machine à laver chère à 400¥.
Localisation éloignée du centre, à 1h de bus mais arrêt de bus pas très loin et je suis moins éloignée de Arashiyama.

Good setup for a family of 6.
Was not a fan of the shower. It was leaking and would get the whole floor wet. One receptionist was great, the female was not. She was not helpful and appeared lost.
