About this cottage rental
Unwind at our peaceful waterfront home on the quiet calm Townsend Lake. An inviting open concept main floor with tons of natural light opens to large cedar decks and a clear shallow shoreline. Lots of water fun to be had in this protected and safe lake with golf, hiking and waterfalls galore all nearby. Winter brings skating and snowshoeing on site with OFSC and XC ski trails as well as Beaver Valley Ski Club all close by. Your stay includes use of our large outdoor firepit, kayak, Sup x 2, canoe, pedal boat, Lily Pad, BBQ, unlimited streaming quality WIFI, Apple TV, and much more. Please note the 7 person/4 adult maximum for all stays.

We had a wonderful stay. The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we were looking for for a long weekend getaway! There were a lot of amenities we didn't get to take advantage of (like the boats), but that we look forward to next time. The sauna is awesome touch. Joel was very kind and quick to respond to messages, especially after we accidentally left something behind. He was helpful and easy to work with, and we were able to problem-solve retrieving it. Would definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic stay! Joel was an excellent host — he responded quickly to all messages and graciously allowed us to check in early with a winter storm approaching, which we truly appreciated.The cottage was spotless, very well equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were there for Family Day weekend and snowmobiling, the location was perfect — close to incredible trails. The views were absolutely priceless. We would definitely return and highly recommend this property!Lana & Jeff

The property was very pretty and the host was extremely responsive. I was hoping to swim with our dogs but the water was so shallow and weedy I ended up putting my bathing suit away. Even the dogs got tangled in the weeds at one point, which was scary. No signal for the satellite so no TV while we were there. Usually not a big deal but we had a few days of rain so stayed inside. There was Netflix etc so we ended up watching that. I found the amenities in the kitchen a little sparse but again, not a show stopper. Would I stay here again? Probably not, seriously nothing wrong with this place and it was pretty … I have just stayed at nicer places for the same price.
