We really picked out a great place for visiting the Monterey area! The home is about five miles from everything we wanted to do! The home is easy to find and in a great location! The home is just as described and pictured! Beds were comfy and had all of the essentials. I had to call the owner because I could not find something, and she answered on the first call and pointed me in the right direction. Thank you for a great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay here, the house had all the essentials we needed! Great little spot, outside of the busyness but close enough to everything in Monterey. Strong smell of cleaning products when we got there, luckily the weather was nice enough to open all the windows, as we started getting a headache. But too clean is not a terrible problem to have! Would stay here again, easy check in and out. The large deposit was a bit odd to me, never had a sizeable deposit charged a month prior to a stay, but assuming we will get it back.

Nice, comfortable accommodations while attending the Monterey Jazz Festival, 2023! Everything was very clean and organized, and more than enough room for three. Great neighborhood. After parking the car we took our bikes everywhere. Thanks!

My family and I stayed here while my daughter attended a local day camp. It is in a nice little neighborhood that felt safe and clean. Its on a somewhat busy street between two main roadways, so we did notice road noise during busier times of day but nothing that caused great alarm. The house was cute and clean and was just the right size for the three of us. Lots of great food options around and you are just a few minutes drive from Monterey as well. We look forward to hopefully coming back next year.

This is a nice house central to everything we wanted to see in the Monterey/Big Sur area. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and there was plenty of room. The only complaint would be that the bed in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable as the middle section was sunk in. The bedding however, was very nice.

I enjoyed this property for it's cleaniness and close proximity to attractions in Monterey (it was about a 10-15 minute drive). The host was very communicative and amenities were as advertised.

The house was clean and in such a great neighborhood. There was a park within walking distance for my son to play at. Unfortunately, during our stay the electric company was doing some work in the neighborhood that turned off our power for a day. And we were unable to watch anything on the tv during our stay. But overall, a great home!!

We wanted to make our first trip with our 2 month old and my mom to Monterey. This location and property was really good, the cleanliness can be better (Saw some hair strands on the towel) . We were disappointed when we did not get an hour extension on checkout. With young kid, since there are so many things to be taken care of, we weren't expecting this.

Great place to stay! Great location for state parks along the coast and Monterey Aquarium. We enjoyed our time there. The house was super clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Thank you for having us.

We had an event this weekend at Laguna seca and this house was basically at the entrance of the south boundary road where we drive in. House was clean, linens were fresh. Had everything a few dudes needed for a long day in the sun. Couldn't get Netflix to work, but we ended up not using the TV after all. Would stay again

This home works well if you just need a place to take a shower and sleep - at night. There’s quite a bit of construction happening. It’s a drive if you want to go to the beach, restaurants, or shopping.

Communication with owner was excellent. The house was comfortable for our group of 4 adults. We mostly just used it as a place to sleep, eat breakfast and watch a little evening TV. Other than that, we were busy being tourists. The neighborhood felt safe, the house was clean, plenty of dishes & utensils - pots & pans could be updated, but were adequate. This place served our purpose well, at a reasonable rate.

Proximity to local attractions was good, neighborhood was ok. All seemed ok inside initially and check in was easy. My teenage daughter said there was a little sand in one of the beds and the sheets didn’t look clean. Kitchen was adequate but pots and pans were very old and in poor shape. No dishwasher or decent BBQ, patio no really a place you’d want to hang out, just FYI. None of that was a big deal to us, wasn’t going to mention it but… Our last night, while watching TV with my daughter we watched a 6-8” (nose-tail) Rat walk across the living room floor into the kitchen. He went out of view but guessing he crawled under one of the appliances. I made sure all of our food was put away and we went to bed. The next morning, rat poop all over the couch, kitchen table, counters, and floor. Contacted the owner directly, not asking for a refund/discount, just to give her a heads up out of courtesy, and was not treated well, said she didn’t believe me. She later texted saying she went by the property, saw the poop, and would take care of the rat. The treatment however, was inexcusable. Steer clear in my .02

The owners have a camera on the driveway. Our two electricians arrived with two others prior to heading out for dinner. The owner called immediately. We explained, two-three professionals staying, it was a short stop before heading to dinner. It might be nice to include their are cameras on the property in the listing. While caution is good, privacy is better. Overall a very good stay.
