Excellent location right on the Santa Monica waterfront a few blocks from the pier. Room was a bit dated and no hot water in the shower, which was strange given the faucet in the bathroom had hot water. Bed’s really comfortable. Nice rooftop bar with excellent service. I think the property is just getting up and running again…. We didn’t have a kitchen. That was on me not reading the room description correctly I guess…. Would stay again

Nice family spot. Had 2 bedrooms. Beautiful pool and rooftop bar. Wonderful, friendly & helpful staff. Perfect location for beach & Santa Monica.

We were fortunate to get an early check in. The heavy rain Friday made us appreciate the spacious two room suite as we stayed in using air play to watch the TV and soaked in the jacuzzi tub to get warm after getting soaked going out for a meal and groceries. Saturday my son played in a club volleyball tournament on the Santa Monica beach which was an easy walk across the pedestrian bridge and down some stairs. Close enough to walk back when I forgot something. We checked out the roof top bar in the afternoon - lovely views and popular with locals. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. There were lots of places to eat in a walkable distance as well as a Target and Trader Joes. Saturday morning there was a farmers market a block away. We will stay again.

I had a terrible experience at this Sonder which included poor customer service, plumbing issues in both bathrooms, no wifi for 2 days, broken promises about an upgrade and no compensation.

Our flight to LA was delayed by over 4 hours. We didn’t arrive until late Sunday night. Checkin was no problem and our rooms at Sonder’s The Beacon, were amazing, as advertised. Comfort, convenience and communication were perfect. It allowed us to focus on our busy 2 days of meetings. We will definitely be staying here again next time we are in town.

We had a fantastic time. Front desk staff are wonderful and very helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The view of the ocean from our window is incredible! Will definitely stay again.
