As two female travelers, we were highly satisfied with the Santa Clara Hostel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful as well. Due to a travel mistake on our end, we had to make adjustments to the reservation. The staff were accommodating and understanding in terms of the price and changes. This location is in Alfama, which is considered the older part of town. AC was amazing as well! We highly recommend it!

The host and the team were always accommodating to our requests/questions. The host was easy to reach and always available on WhatsApp. Easy check in and check out. The housekeeping lady was always on time to clean the bathroom and kitchen every morning. The dining area is big for all 4 rooms. The location is strategic yet still very calm at night. To wake up to a wonderful sea view is a dream. In the room, there is air conditioner that was very helpful as the weather can get quite warm and humid.
