Absolutely amazing experience at Mambo Ocean! šā¤ļø
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone was so kind, professional, and attentive, and the entire stay felt truly special.
A huge thank you to the hotel manager, who was exceptionally kind and thoughtful. To celebrate our marriage anniversary, they beautifully decorated our room, which was such a lovely surprise and made our celebration even more memorable. ā¤ļø
The experience with the sea tides was absolutely incredibleāsomething we had never seen before! It was truly breathtaking and added such a unique touch to our stay.
A special thank you to Ahmed, the SPA Manager, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. His warmth and professionalism really stood out.
We also want to sincerely appreciate the security team. They were always kind, respectful, and welcoming. We had an especially touching moment when we checked out very early in the morning. The hotel had prepared a breakfast to go for us, but we completely forgot to pick it up. One of the security team members actually came running behind our car to make sure we received our breakfast! š„¹ā¤ļø That small gesture genuinely touched our hearts and showed just how much the team cares about their guests.
Thank you, Mambo Ocean, for an amazing and unforgettable experience. We will always remember our anniversary stay with so much happiness and gratitude. Highly recommended! āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø

The property is actually where the sand band is so it is really convenient to go see all the marine animals right from the hotel. Plus when it is high tide, it is also really well placed : the waves are not too strong and there is no cement wave brakers like a bit further on the other hotels. A really hidden pearls well located!!!And the staff is discreet, efficient and always at your disposition. I couldnāt dream better!!!š
Maybe the price of the food is a bit high compared to other places but the food is really good!

The resort is right on the beachfront, and for the price, itās excellent value compared to nearby places like Neptune, which were almost three times more. Itās about an hourās drive from the airport, but the roads are good, and checkāin was smooth. The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were spacious and clean.
There are two swimming pools and one restaurant. Thereās no gym, which might be a downside for some, but with the whole beach at your doorstep, staying active is still easy. We enjoyed the nightly entertainment, and the big screen was perfect since we visited during the World Cup. The WiFi was also reliable.Food was okay, though the options were limited. With only one restaurant and the same menu daily, it can feel repetitive, but you can visit restaurants at nearby resorts if you want more variety. Even though we were on full board, some meals and all drinks were notincluded, which was a bit surprising. There were also no designated smoking areas, which wasnāt ideal during meal times for nonāsmokers.Mosquitoes were quite active, so bring repellantāthough the resort did provide one complimentary. Also keep in mind that traveling to Zanzibar requires a visa and health insurance (about $130), which can add up for families.

I stayed at this hotel for one night. The price was very reasonable, and I arrived quite late; however, the staff were already informed and kindly waited for me since I was the last guest to check in that day.
The breakfast had limited options, but it was adequate for a short stay. The beach area was nice to look at with a beautiful view, although it was not suitable for swimming at the time due to maintenance work, which I was not informed about in advance.
I also tried the massage service by the beach, and the therapist was very kind and experienced, which I truly appreciated. The hotel also provides beach seating as well as food and drink service, which is convenient.
However, the room was quite small, including the bathroom, with limited space overall. The room design also had an open window mirror feature that affected privacy, as guests in nearby rooms could potentially see inside unless the curtains were fully closed at all times.
I only planned a short stay to check the place out and then moved to another hotel afterward. I did not get to experience much of the lunch service, so I cannot comment on that.
Overall, it is an okay option for a budget stay, but it may not be ideal for a long or fully relaxing holiday due to the limited space and facilities.
The toilet had very limited space, with no proper area to place toiletries. Overall, the room was quite small, with not enough space to hang clothes or move around comfortably.
There was also only one swimming pool, which was under maintenance during my stay, so it was not available to use.
Despite these limitations, the stay was manageable for a short visit, but the space and facilities may feel restrictive for a longer stay.
