I don’t normally submit reviews, but I would be doing our hosts a grave injustice if I didn’t!
Piero and Sandra made our vacation a ‘home from home’ experience, they are both genuinely warm, kind hearted and friendly people.
With Ortigia only being a few minutes stroll away the location is perfect, rooms are spotless and the breakfasts with the view overlooking the Harbor are a real treat. “Grazie Sandra, sei la migliore”. The conversations, tips and insights from them both were second to none, in fact one of the restaurants they recommended was so good we made a second reservation for the following day.
It looks like I’ll be taking a bottle of Benanti Etna Rosso home with me Piero! 😊
We hope to see you again in the future.
People, one word, OUTSTANDING!
All good!

Piiero and Sandra were great hosts. The location was excellent with plenty of food options near by. The room was spotless and breakfast was superb as Sandra enjoys cooking. Breakfast was served on the balcony which has a nice view. I would highly recommend and would stay here again

Amazing breakfast lovingly prepared by the host. Exceptional location close to the historic center of Ortigia and walking distance to the Siracusa train station. Sandra and Piero are delightful owners.

We had a wonderful stay with Sandra and Piero at Terraza Sul Porto, Sandra's breakfasts were far too delicious for my waistline, and the setting for breakfast with the opportunity to chat with the other guests was delightful. The location is excellent, 10 to 15 minutes walk to the main bus stops and train station, and 5 minutes to cross the bridge onto Ortigia. Piero is a bit of a gourmand, so his restaurant recommendations were excellent. The room was quiet, excellent soundproofing, and very comfortable. Sandra was particularly attentive, adjusting the breakfasts to suit our tastes, in fact we really enjoyed the personal touch and chatting with Sandra via Google translate. We highly recommend staying here.
