This is beautiful and very well thought out resort. Lovely views out to sea from the restaurant and main pool area (our villa was set behind others so didn't have clear sea views). Our villa was enormous, immaculately clean and beautifully designed. Beds very comfy. Spa treatments were really lovely. Food was a very good standard albeit expensive. Staff very friendly. We enjoyed the complimentary yoga classes and clifftop walk with Carlos.
Lack of tea and coffee! While there were some complimentary coffee capsules provided in our villa (although not topped up), there was only a small pot of herbal tea leaves. And the coffee machine in the hotel was out of order for our entire stay, meaning we could only get filter coffee. And although 'black tea' was on the breakfast menu, staff always seemed surprised when I asked for it, and it was very weak. I know that makes me fussy but three days without a decent cup of tea or coffee... Also bed layout in the villa was a little odd. There was a master ensuite, a double ensuite -and then a double with a staircase leading down to another double (sharing the downstairs bathroom) with no doors in between offering little privacy which seemed a bit of an odd arrangement? A toilet on the ground floor just had a glass wall offering no privacy at all! Finally the air pump/ground source heating pump was very noisy in some parts of the villa. These are all small details but for the price paid they were surprising. It's a bit of a tricky walk down to the beach - the first day we followed the staff's directions and ended up walking through a muddy boggy area to reach the steps. After this we took a longer route round following the road - worth noting that it takes a good 15 minutes to actually get down to the beach. We were a bit disappointed to find that not all the activities were on offer during our stay, in particular the 'Circle of Fire' which we had been looking forward to. But the activities we did get to do were lovely.

Viel Platz, Nähe zur Natur.
Lichtkonzept nicht ausgewogen. Beim Nachtessen mussten wir für vier Scheiben Brit 30 Euro bezahlen. Etwas teuer. Butter von den Azoren nicht so nachhaltig

Wanted to love it, bit couldn't. The property itself is beautiful. The rooms are great, but the beds...OMG horrible.
The staff was very friendly, but they wore very strange, Hobbit like attire.
Beds - Horrific.
Staff were dressed like hippie hobbits...Was so strange.
