The room is exceptionally small, but you are staying in a thatched roof pub so that’s expected. Tastefully decorated and comfortable . Aircon machine was essential in the heat wave.
This used to be our local pub - food is excellent .

It was very quaint and cosy
A bit further away from the Thames than we thought

I mistakenly booked this accommodation thinking it was in the heart of Henley on Thames and discovered it was in an even better location right in the countryside. Not having a car meant we had to get a taxi to the property but it was worth it! The attention and service displayed by Paul was exceptional.

The room itself was lovely and clean. The bathroom was great.
Unfortunately the blind in the room was broken so we could look out to the countryside. The biggest disappointment was the fact we booked the property to get a good traditional English breakfast after years of living overseas and on the day we stayed, the kitchen was not open so we could only have a pastry. While it did say the pub was closed, it still said a cooked breakfast would be provided. We believe the price reflected this.
