It truly showcases the best of the Southern California lifestyle with seamless indoor-outdoor living and beautifully appointed spaces in and out. There is an amazing choice of things to do here, as you rest, relax, recharge, and reconnect with yourself and others in this vacation paradise. Enjoy the warm sunset and ocean views from the 1/2-acre resort-like backyard with a saltwater pool, waterslide, spa, and a wide variety of large and small seating areas. A barbecue, an outside dining table for 6, and an outside bar with 6 high-top chairs makes it easy for everyone to eat together outside. All this, just about a mile from the beach! There is also a large fenced-in grassy area, a lighted sports court, plus a cozy fire pit nook. The sunny expansive patio is perfect for creating meals together or enjoying morning coffee or an evening libation at the end of your day’s adventures. This outside resort is accessible from almost all the rooms through French doors - easy indoor/outdoor living here. Open the front gate to a small patio, then open the front door, and step into a spacious foyer with a beautifully appointed living room. A large flat screen TV over the fireplace are both easy to enjoy from a large, comfortable seating area. French doors open to the amazing backyard from here too …so you can also get a sweeping view of all the delights the resort-like backyard offers, including an ocean view! To the left of the foyer is a formal dining room for 10 that also has a view of the backyard. There is a queen bedroom, a half bath, and a laundry room in the hallway before you get to the kitchen. A large great room - with easy outdoor access - has a den area with a large flat screen TV and a huge, cozy sectional where everyone can gather. It is next to a beautiful state-of-the-art chef’s kitchen; with all the amenities you need to satisfy your culinary desires and Viking appliances. Just add the food and have fun. There is also an informal dining area that seats 6, and easy outside access here too. The king master suite has a fireplace, an intimate seating nook, a flat screen TV, and a double walk-in closet. Its beautiful ensuite bath has a large soaking tub and a large walk-in shower. There are also 3 secondary king bedrooms with ensuite baths on this wing. On a 2nd wing off the game room - with foosball, billiards table and wet bar - there are 2 bedrooms with ensuite baths. There is a twin over double bunk room and an additional queen loft. Lastly, there is one additional queen bedroom just off the kitchen with its own ensuite bath. This 8-bedroom home comfortably sleeps 17 in beds. There is also an additional queen sofa sleeper so this home sleeps 19 in total. All bed and bathrooms are furnished with a generous supply of premiere linens so you can always be comfortable. Additional amenities include air conditioning, a 2-car garage, ample street parking, WIFI and TV, and a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. THINGS WE LOVE ABOUT THIS HOME! It is located just across from the La Jolla Country Club - an easy walk to the 17th fairway. It is just a short drive to quintessential La Jolla Village with all its amazing restaurants, and shopping. Freeway access it also not far away. There are several beaches surrounding La Jolla, some excellent for swimming and sunbathing, and others have beautiful cliffs to walk around. THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THIS PROPERTY: No smoking is allowed inside or outside this property - NO EXCEPTIONS! This home sleeps 17 in beds, 19 if the queen sofa sleeper is used. There is no fee for A/C and there is a $100 fee/day for heating the pool. Please note: reservations for this home will not be refunded if cancelled within 60 days of arrival. 2 dogs welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without approval. Parking notes: Driveway parking is available for 4-5 cars. There is also room for one vehicle in the garage (on the left when looking at the home). The remote will be inside the home. There is street parking available as well. 1 days notification is required in order to heat the pool. A fee of USD100 per day must be paid prior to check-in. We had a great retreat at this awesome house. Clean, spacious and fun amenities like pool with slide, sport court, ping pong, pool table and foosball. Close to a lot of great restaurants, Wheat and Water, Wayfarer Bakery, Rosemonts Cafe, Promiscuous Fork, Classic Burger and Shiku Sushi. Great place to go to the beach or take a nice run along the coast. We’d love to visit again.

Nice house on mostly one level. It’s a 15 minute walk a bit downhill to the middle of town. We enjoyed a family week from great grandfather to 4 month old. The house is nicely updated with kitchen fully equipped.
