It met my needs traveling with my daughter. Laundry service was very convenient. Concierge was very helpful.
The enclosed courtyard in front of each room was a peaceful way to start each morning with a cup of coffee.
Grocery shops, pharmacy, ATM, and waterfront restaurants within walking distance.
Istanbul is beautiful!
I noticed some problems with cleanliness in the room and pointed them out right away and staff fixed it.
Not a lot of sidewalks walking into town, so must be careful of cars passing.
Concierge took photos of our passports when we arrived to autofill into computer system. I asked if this was necessary, he said yes. In this day and age with digital privacy a concern, I would have preferred he just manually type in the passport number. It made me feel less welcome, like I was at a customs gate.

The location suited our needs, the pricing was fair compared to some of the neighboring hotels.
There was a lingering sewer smell in the room that made the stay quite unpleasant. Also some parts of the shower did not look very well maintained. Youtube kept switching to Russian with no way to switch back.
