The Space: - Comfortably sleeps 2 adults - 1 bedroom - 1 bathroom - You have one parking space in the driveway and the street also offers free parking. - Fully stocked kitchen w/ Keurig coffee maker - Living room - Back patio with a BBQ Also note: - The unit and backyard are completely private, but there is a shared wall and parking area. - No gatherings or parties allowed (strictly enforced) - The exterior of this home is monitored by 24/7 surveillance recording devices for safety. - Smart TVs with streaming capabilities (no local channels or cable). - NO PETS Guest Access: Guest have access to the entire unit as well as a designated parking space out front. The Neighborhood: Santa Cruz, California, is a coastal town with a unique blend of natural beauty and vibrant culture. Known for its stunning beaches along West Cliff Drive, it's a paradise for sunbathers, surfers, and outdoor enthusiasts. The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk offers classic seaside fun with thrilling rides and amusements. The town's lively downtown area is dotted with eclectic shops, art galleries, and diverse dining options. Santa Cruz is also a hub for live music and cultural events, with the Santa Cruz Wharf offering spectacular ocean views and fresh seafood. Whether you're seeking outdoor adventures or relaxation, Santa Cruz has it all, making it a dynamic and inviting coastal destination. This is not a good place for gatherings or parties so please keep that in mind when booking this home. We are very respectful of our neighbors and will not tolerate loud noise past curfew and additional guests at the property. Getting Around: - The Santa Cruz Harbor (2 minute walk) - Crow's Nest Restaurant (2 minute walk) - Harbor Cafe (10 minute walk) - Twin Lakes Beach (5 minute walk) - Safeway, Whole Foods, etc. (10 minute drive) - Santa Cruz Main Beach & Boardwalk (10 minute drive) Other Things to Note: - This unit is part of a duplex with a shared wall. You are steps away from one of the more popular beaches in town so the area can be lively during the day but generally stays quiet at night. There is no washer or dryer on site, but there is a laundromat right down the street. There is only one reserved parking spot and although street parking is free, additional parking can be hard to find during the busy months (since this is such a popular beach for locals). - We are required to stick to our cancellation policy and we suggest adding trip insurance for any last minute issues that may impact your travel (Weather, Illness, etc). We are not able to cancel, move or refund bookings that do not fall in our cancellation policy for any reason. - We have landscapers, pest service, and other property maintenance done on a weekly basis. You may see or hear these service professionals during your stay as they let themselves into the backyard to service as needed. Please be sure to ask about this before booking if you think it might be an issue for you. - TV is a smart tv with streaming capabilities. There are no cable or local channels. - The exterior of this home is monitored by 24/7 surveillance recording devices for safety. Interaction with Guests: We are around whenever needed!

This place is in a great location across the street from the harbor and it is clean and well set up. I would have given it a rating of 5 stars, if the people in the adjacent unit had been reasonably quiet. When I arrived to check in at 4 pm, there was already a party going on next door. Although it was very loud and noisy with many people (the noise level and number of guests were not allowed in the rental agreement I signed), I could have tolerated it, if they had honored the quiet time at 9 pm. Nope, the party just got louder with loud music and people shouting (this seems to happen as people get more drunk). Unfortunately, I felt that I needed to contact the host as I would never be able to sleep and the noise was very disruptive to a pleasant experience at the unit. I got a quick response from the host and the noise ended about 11 pm. The host did provide a partial credit, which I appreciated.

We owned in the area since 2007 but recently sold. We love coming back to a place we called home for so long and we hope to return. The area was fantastic, the road is a bit noisy but was expected being so close to the ocean and entertainment. Thanks so much.
