Dismal and disappointing. Will never stay there again.

Location

In my 7 day stay in Portugal, I had collected 50 bags of pumped frozen breastmilk. I asked the hotel receptionist to store this in their freezer. I even gave more bags during my stay there. When it was time to collect the frozen milk for my 24 hour flight, they gave it back to me THAWED. They put it in the refrigerator instead of the freezer. Unacceptable for a hotel that is supposed to understand basic English, and unacceptable for a hotel that should prioritize needs of their guests. I am traumatized by the incident because I had to dump the milk I carefully collected for my baby all because of a negligent employee.

Perfect location

Perfect location, in the middle of the old town. The hotel was good, quirky, clean with friendly and helpful staff. Roof terrace with great views. Breakfast was good, but quite basic, buffet style…, and an amazing view.

Location in an old style building means loads of stairs and steps. If you’re travelling with heavy suitcases, the arrival is very steep and quite strenous. And as far as I could see only one fire exit from our 4th floor room, which was down the same stairs…

Lovely boutique hotel in Lisbon.

The staff were excellent and very helpful. The room was very clean and quirky we were in the tram themed room. The roof top bar has amazing views and is lovely place to eat breakfast which was also excellent . Pedro made us feel very welcome and really looked after us .

There are quite a lot of stairs . But Lisbon is all steps and stairs so it is to be expected.

Very good

Breakfast in the roof top was fantastic with the view. Food was nice and great selection. The hotel is rather noisy until 11 pm because of live music in the rooftop bar, so silence is available only after 11pm. Especially during weekend

Noise in the evening Poor pillows LOT of stairs, be careful if you have any mobiloty challenges.

Excellent location! Wonderful staff! Highly recommend !!

The location is perfect!! Slap bang in the middle of Lisbon but when we were actually in the hotel (late night early morning) it was quiet !!

Located in the epicentre of Lisbon and quirky - but beware of the stairs!!

Location was perfect for sightseeing, the hotel was right in the heart of it all. It is on a pedestrian area so the taxi had to drop us about 100 yards away. The rooftop terrace has amazing views of the city and there was live music when we were there. The staff where very friendly and helpful.

A big issue is the lack of a lift, you enter the hotel straight off the street up some long and steep stairs, so probably two flights before you encounter the "luggage or single person" lift. There are stairs everywhere and to get to breakfast on the roof terrace (sounds great) you have to climb three separate sets of stairs. We would not have booked this hotel if we had realised the number of stairs to get around so definitely not for anyone with mobility issues.

Would love to stay here again!

Amazing location and a lovely rooftop space for a great breakfast that was included in our price . You can also use the rooftop at your own leisure outside of 5.30-10.30 when it’s open to the public.

Great location but be warned about the steps.

it was in a great location for everything. Nicely decorated and the rooftop bar was a bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The steps! It does say on the website that there are steps but it doesn’t say how steep or how many there are and certainly not suitable for anyone with limited stamina.

Well-located, pleasant hotel with good breakfast

comfy bed, nice big mirrors and the shower was great! The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything with easy public transport nearby, but quiet at night. We loved the rooftop breakfast!

My bed sheets had a couple of stains which wasn’t pleasant, the staff were a bit stony faced and there was no English breakfast tea in our rooms or at breakfast. The restaurant was expensive so we didn’t eat there.

Artsy boutique style hotel with great location!

Very artsy and clean place! Confortable and perfect location. The staff was amazing!

I did not like the fact that the roof top restaurant/ bar was closed. It was under maintenance, so it was an inconvenience.

Great location and amazing staff

Staff and location was excellent also it was very well kept. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and very very friendly, really added to our stay and helped us get comfortable in a new country

Only draw back which did not effect myself particularly but I could see it effecting others is the stairs to the rooms with limited elevator access

The location and staff were fantastic!! They had wonderful entertainment and it was so much fun!!

Great hotel with fab location for family stay

Lovely spacious family room - plenty of space for two adults and two teenagers. the location is fantastic - right in the heart of tourist Lisbon. Late checkout was very helpful. The staff were polite and courteous.

The beds were a little hard. Unfortunately the restaurant was out of action for our stay - we were very well compensated for that with breakfast vouchers at a nearby cafe but it wasn’t quite as convenient. Being very central, it was quite noisy with the window open.

Great Hotel

Location perfect for families, as short walk to lots of viewing attractions. The room we had was so spacious and the beds were really comfortable Food and drink on the Roof top was great with lovely views All the staff were so helpful, chatty and kind. From the moment we checked in, from the gentleman on the Reception, to the lovely bar and restaurant Staff. We absolutely loved the evening Entertainment- Human Jukebox-such talented singer and guitar partnership. We only stayed 1 night but would definitely return.

Loved every minute of our stay!

The location was right in the middle of everything, close to food, shopping, the metro and train stations. Staff was very helpful to point out notable places to see. The included breakfast made mornings easy. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.

All the stairs (the lift was out of order until the last day we were there, and it only stopped on the 1st and 4th floors, so it wouldn’t have helped us on the 3rd floor anyway).
