Villa Terme di Caracalla was well located, a 10 minute walk from the Colosseum and many restaurants. There were a few bus stops within walking distance. The villa is large and bright, the swimming pool lovely to help cool down. The host was very responsive when we had a couple of issues. The AC was very welcomed in the hot weather.
Unfortunately, we were met with many mosquitos in the entrance hall when we arrived, so we all received several bites. However, the host came around straight away and sprayed the house and outside. All was fine after that. The villa is on several floors but there is a lift. The stairs would not be suitable for small children. The interior could do with some tender loving care.

Great location, about a 10/15 min walk to the Colosseum. We made good use of the pool, much needed in the 27 degree heat.
Had to wait at the start as the cleaner had called in sick, however the owner was very good and bought us pizza and drinks and let us up by the pool while they very quickly got new cleaners in.

The property was spacious and had a great feel. The pool was a highlight on 35 degree days.
The property was opposite a music festival we were not to about which offer played very loud until 3 am and then the municipal workers started next door at 8am. Many of the streets were closed during this time so hard to get Ubers out of the area
Note festival is on for only a month in summer but happened when we were there
