We went to a spa for a couples massage, then checked in at the Inn and them went out for an excellent dinner.
I like to do stretching and yoga exercises on my own eash day if possible. It would be great if there were a space, perhaps in one of the other buildings dedicated to exercise.

The Inn is a historic property in a very scenic location. The public rooms are beautifully furnished with lots of interesting antiques on display. The room itself was a bit cramped and sparsely furnished, more in keeping with a three-star property than a luxury inn. Furnishings were uneven. On the one hand, the bed was comfortable and bath towels were very plush. But lighting was inadequate, there was no bath mat, and bars of soap were very meager. The breakfast was good, but not close to the lavish spread you would expect at a fine B&B. Staff is very friendly and eager to please.
Hotels are expensive in season in the Berkshires, but we felt that this inn is overpriced for what you get.

Both Nick and Morgan made us feel very comfortable; we can't wait to return. Nick is a great accommodating chef and Morgan an excellent baker - great Peanut Butter Cookies!

The hosts were kind and welcoming. The property was close to Tanglewood and easy to find. Bed was comfortable.
The property is not well-maintained. Water pressure and temperature fluctuated during our showers. Dust around the top of the lamp on the table in entry was the first thing i saw. Dust caked on the bathroom ceiling fan. Empty kleenex box. Stained drawer in vanity. Dirty cover on the cake tray where cookies were displayed. Peeling paint in the bathroom which otherwise looked recently updated. It was comfortable but we have stayed in many bed and breakfasts and it just didn't live up to our expectations.
