Amazing location right across the street from Mass MoCA. It's a short walk or drive to lots of places to eat. The hotel is artsy and well-maintained, with a nice breakfast buffet, a pool, and excellent staff (someone even came to help us with the TV when we couldn't figure something out!)
It's not cheap, but nothing in the Berkshires is! We often stay here when visiting Mass MoCA because it's worth the cost.

Proximity to museum and the architecture are interesting.
I really disliked that my room had a Murphy bed for no reason. It was very difficult to pull down, and also meant that I had to make my own bed, which is just the bare minimum you expect at a hotel. It was a poor use of space in the room for no reason, too close to the wall, no real end tables, and very high off the ground. The room was quite large so this “space saver” was just a silly design and would have been very uncomfortable for 2 people.
The staff was unfriendly and seemed troubled by any question I asked at check in.
Then my shower flooded after a short time in the shower and I had to stop showering to prevent the rest of room from flooding because the very modern shower design had no threshold protecting the rest of the bathroom or bedroom floor. There are no internal phones and no direct number to the hotel was provided. I called the only number on their website and it took me to an AI reservation service. My room was a walk from the front desk so I just had to make do getting ready rather than get any help from the hotel.
