The overall ambience was one of luxurious comfort with tremendous views, easy access to town and the Rhaetian Railway on which we travelled several times from this hotel. The hotel also provides discount travel on the glacier gondola and nearby travel -- we travelled only by rail and bus. The highlight of our hotel-discounted travel was the Daivolezza Gondola which cost us a few euro with our hotel-provided Engadin card (others were charged 60- 200 Euro).
Breakfast was very good with lots of choice and very high quality food. Service was very attentive. And that is just the start: the lounge is open all day and it is easy to order drinks and food. Best of all, on nice summer days both lunch and dinner are served on an extensive terrace with amazing views. Alas, we only had one such day as weather closed the terrace on our other days. Still, the lounge was always available.
the weather stopped us using the wonderful terrace every evening

Mooie kamer / goed gelegen / goed ontbijt
Zelf inchecken blijft tijdverspilling
Toch schoonheidsfoutjes : te weinig zeep en niet aangevuld / geen aanvulling koffie-capsules
