The staff couldn't do enough to accommodate me on my stay. In particular Lisa made me feel very welcome. When I arrived she said "you'll arive as a guest and leave as a friend". She wasn't wrong

Room was lovely and nice and clean. Everything you needed was in the room. Comfortable bed and nice furnishings.
Didn’t see any staff although we were in very late both nights so okay with us.

The room is nice and sufficient room. Not sure what makes it deluxe but it was very good for what I needed. The ring doorbell is a great safety addition.
I don't like the en suite bathroom doors. And steep stairs up to rooms. Car park barrier is a little annoying.

The Eyre Arms is a fab local pub, clearly at the heart of the community where everyone knows everyone. Great food, Sunday lunch served until about 6pm and a great selection of pub classics as well as a changing specials board. Local beers on tap and a friendly staff.
Not a didn't like but a consideration for guests is that the pub is in a quiet village which doesn't have shops, cafes and bars, you'll need to drive to those things. Not a concern just a note to keep in mind.
