Accessibility to a clean beach, the lake, good food at the Sage Pub, walk ability, adequate parking for a truck (on the street) and the price point! Met the owner Karen, and we struck up a conversation- She’s very personable and I learned a little more of her family’s business, Poplar’s history!
NOISE factor (we and the couple traveling with) had the ground and second level corner rooms closest to the beach of the building we stayed in (People running up and down the stairs next to the room, and running on the balcony above -sometimes after 2200). If curtains open during the day; people just stared in. ** It would be nice to have a second set of sheer curtains for that purpose (and still provide outside light)
Plus the car right in front of our door had backed up as far as they could - tight spacing if we were carrying anything in from the beach or the store…

Nice landscape and lcoation, so many barbeques with a beautiful view. The beas was much better that main beach of Osoyoos
Close to the street, and you may hear soudns during peak period from street.

Amazing location, loved the private beach and lake access. The beds were the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in away from home. Everything that was needed - was there.
I was up on the 3rd floor, so the stairs were tough with no elevator access with my spinal issues, but not enough to be a total deal breaker.

Needs an upgrade with such a great location...like a highway motel.
