The space was perfect for our group of 6. The views are amazing and it was great waking up every day to horses outside of the windows. It’s only a 15 minute drive into town and also close to many areas for day trips. We could have easily stayed a week!
This is minor, but It lacked a few kitchen items like cling wrap and parchment paper. Bring those items if you plan on cooking and having left overs. The duvets are also on the warm side but it helped sleeping with the windows open.

The setting was beautiful - surrounded by pastures of sheep and horses and ringed by mountain peaks that were dusted by snow the third morning! The house was spacious and light. All appliances worked and the kitchen was well outfitted. And - huge - there was even creamer and filters for our coffee!
I cannot think of a single improvement in the house or property. Perhaps listing the distance along the gravel road (Pelamerkurvegur) off route 1 for first-timers. Of course, once we figured it out, not a bit difficult.

Das Haus liegt wunderschön in den Wiesen einer Pferderanch, liebevoll ausgestattet, exakt wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos zu sehen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
