The peaceful setting and incredible view make this a special place to stay.
The parking situation is tricky your first time there. Drive to the funicular and right at the building, take a steep hard right up to a gate to the roof. Then show the attendant at the funicular your confirmation and he opens the gate. We couldn’t find it the first day. Also, be aware that the funicular runs from 830-5 so if you need to be somewhere early or if you will arrive after 5, this may not be the place for you.

The chalet is in the most amazing location. Stunning views and beautiful pine room. Sylvie was the most amazing hostess who helped us with planning walks and provided the best hospitality. Food and drinks were perfect.

Beautiful views, dinner was solid, the beds were incredibly comfortable.
The property is masssssively overpriced. You are solely paying for the views. The rooms are incredibly basic, even simpler than rooms at half the price, and a huge challenge is that you are stuck on the mountain for the evening so you don’t have the opportunity to enjoy the town past 6PM.
