SeaWorld: this theme park is an animal-focused marine mammal park, oceanarium, marine animal rehabilitation center, and aquarium. https://seaworld.com/san-diego...

San Diego Zoo: one of the world’s best. Interesting factoid; their plant collection is actually more valuable than their collection of animals. They once spent $250,000 to move a tree 240 feet. The tree, a ficus watkinsiana, or strangler fig, weighs 440,000 pounds. It is the largest of the zoo’s more than 5,000 trees and is believed to be the largest of its kind in the United States. It is also one of the largest trees ever replanted anywhere in the world. https://zoo.sandiegozoo.org/

Lake Jennings: boating, fishing, hiking, 5 minutes away. https://lakejennings.org/

San Diego Beaches: with 17 miles of coastline and 4,600 acres around Mission Bay Park, San Diego offers a wide variety of beaches and amenities. https://www.sandiego.gov/leisu..

Gaslamp District: this is where you’ll find the nightlife. Also, there are lots of great restaurants. https://www.sandiego.gov/leisu...

Belmont Park: an oceanfront historic amusement park located in the Mission Beach area of San Diego. The park was developed by sugar magnate John D. Spreckels and opened on July 4, 1925, as the Mission Beach Amusement Center. https://www.belmontpark.com/?u...

Seaport Village: a waterfront shopping and dining complex on San Diego Bay in downtown San Diego. It houses more than 70 fun shops, galleries, and eateries on 90,000 square feet of waterfront property. https://seaportvillage.com/

Birch Aquarium; as the name implies, is an aquarium, and the public outreach center for Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California, San Diego. https://aquarium.ucsd.edu/

USS Midway Museum: a historical naval aircraft carrier museum located in downtown San Diego at Navy Pier. The museum consists of the aircraft carrier Midway, and the ship houses an extensive collection of aircraft, many of which were built in Southern California. https://www.midway.org/

Little Italy: a chic, pedestrian-friendly neighborhood, packed with trendy cocktail bars, brewpubs and restaurants with bustling patios. Upscale clothing boutiques, indie music venues and quaint piazzas dot the area, while the weekly Little Italy Mercato Farmers’ Market draws crowds to its mix of produce, gourmet food and craft stalls. Amazing place, great space to entertain. Kitchen features induction cooktop and a double oven, so cooking was no issue and fun for our group. Place was expansive and just amazing all around. Plenty of towels for both indoor and outdoor. Plenty of seating for our party of 14. This truly felt like a solid retreat. I’d stay here again for a future trip.

This property was great for a large family who wanted a quiet place to gather. Kitchen was stocked with every tool/pot/pan you’d need in addition every spice/seasoning. The blackstone was a great bonus and everyone enjoyed the pool. The views were great and it was fun to actually see and hear wildlife! The host was superb and very communicative throughout the process and very responsive when needed. It was also nice having Batman watch over us haha (see photo)

We had the most incredible stay! From start to finish, the experience was seamless. The host’s communication was above and beyond - responsive, kind, and made us feel so welcomed. The space itself was absolutely stunning - spotless, thoughtfully designed, and even more beautiful in person than in the photos. Every detail was so well-considered, and the accommodations exceeded all of our expectations. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, luxurious, and perfectly hosted stay. Thank you again for everything - we loved every minute!
