About this house rental
The definition of "living in paradise"! This adorable 2/2 bungalow is situated directly on the beach in beautiful Indian Rocks Beach. This home features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an open floor plan living area, which is perfect for gathering with friends and family. The large sunroom at the back of the house with retractable doors overlooks the crystal blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico - an ideal spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and to relax and watch the sunset at night!
As soon as you open the front door, you'll be able to see all the way to the beach! The living room area offers ample seating with a corner sectional (with pullout couch) and two comfy arm chairs. Adjacent to the living room is the dining room with seating for six. The large island/breakfast bar, with seating for six, flows nicely right into the kitchen. The kitchen is a chef's dream with high-end appliances and plenty of counter space. Just off the of main living space is the first bedroom. This bedroom has a king bed with luxury linens and an ensuite bathroom. Through a set of barn doors, a spacious sunroom overlooking the pool and gulf is attached. The sunroom has a large sectional couch with pull-out sofa bed, as well as a small kitchenette. The second bedroom is located at the back of the house with a view of the beach. This room also has a king bed and bathroom across the hall. Sliding doors open from the bedroom to the large indoor/outdoor sunroom. Just beyond the sunroom is a large saltwater pool with hot tub and plenty of space for the ultimate beach day! Pool can be heated upon request for a small daily fee.
The bungalow is located on the main road in Indian Rocks Beach, so you'll be within walking distance to many great restaurants, bars, and shops!

This is a lovely cottage right on the beach. I booked it because it was right on the beach with a hot tub and pool, and because it was a one-story house. I mistakenly thought it would be appropriate for my husband, who has disabilities, and myself. We mangaged with some difficutly the steps to the front door (no hand rails), and the two steps down to the pool. The showers, however, were another matter all together. I thought from the picture that the master shower was a pan shower, where we could simply step over a small edge into the shower, but it was actually a sunken tub! It was about a 2 foot step down into the tub. The other shower is in a big bathtub requiring a giant step over the ledge. We made due with the shower outside by the pool which did have warm water. There was no deciet in the listing, but better pictures could have saved me these difficulties. The cottage is very comfortable, the bed in the master was comfortable, but very high and hard for us to get into. The other bed was reported to be comfortable. My family loved the comfy chairs and outside seating area. We all agreed that if not for the showers we would love to return.

Had a wonderful time at a beautiful property. Initial hiccup with housekeeping but owners were responsible , available and responded to the problem immediately. Highly recommend.

Overall our stay was fantastic. We had a few snafus at the beginning that the property owner was quick to take care of. The views from the back of the house are fantastic and sun filled and the ability to walk straight out to the gulf is perfect. The laundry is in the garage, which isn’t obvious from pictures but that isn’t a problem unless you have mobility concerns, or if the weather isn’t as great as it was for us. The house itself is one level but there are steps up to the front door and a couple out the back if that’s important to you. The layout would be perfect for two couples or even two families. The entire left side of the house could be its own studio apartment with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and living room. The bed in that space is a sleep number bed and very comfortable. The shades in that sunroom are also fully remote. Both bathrooms in the house have rain showers, which is a great idea but would be nice if you also had a regular shower head or hand held option. The right side bath has a deep soaking tub that the shower is in and is about hip height, so be aware if you have mobility concerns or small kids. The back bedroom on the right has a gulf/pool view and walks out to the sun porch which is lovely, but didn’t have any shades for privacy or to block the sun in the morning. All in all a great older beach bungalow that’s been lovingly maintained and updated. If in the area we would absolutely come back.
