It was in a good location and the breakfast offered a lot of choices.
The automated check-in method was impractical (a staff person was needed, so why have this system of contactless check-in at all?), it took longer and was more complicated than just a normal face-to-face check-in, the area was crowded and busy, and the woman who helped us check in seemed irritated (but I don’t blame her—we were also irritated by the unnecessary contactless procedure). Check out with a human behind the desk went much more smoothly. Also, the pillows seemed old and were way too soft/flimsy.

An excellent option if you're going to stay in Kyoto for a few days. There is complimentary breakfast. The room was bigger than average, as was the bathroom, and they have washing machines. The staff was superb.
