The apartment was modern, very clean and well designed, with enough space for a comfortable family stay. It was well equipped, and having a kitchen and washing machine was particularly convenient. The location beside the river was pleasant, with Kiyomizu-Gojo Station nearby and Gion and other attractions within easy reach.
The largely self-service arrangement made the experience feel slightly less personal than a traditional hotel, and more frequent housekeeping would have been appreciated. Otherwise, everything was fine.
