In a very good location, not far from Kiyomizu dera temple and the streets of Gion. The rooms are very comfortable and good for resting, with a beautiful design. The cafe was very nice, and the prices were affordable. The bar and the restaurant were very good, and the food and drink were fantastic. The staff offered great service and did everything to fulfill our requests.
It's still a little bit odd for me that the sink is outside the toilet.

I simply don’t have enough words to describe our experience at Nohga Hotel, nor to express how grateful I am to the entire front desk team. They were truly wonderful.
My daughter needed medical care throughout our stay, and the hotel staff went above and beyond to help us. They were always available, attentive, kind, and genuinely caring. From the managers to the front desk staff, everyone made us feel supported, especially Vicky and Tisuka, who were exceptionally thoughtful and attentive.
Being on the other side of the world during such a difficult situation could have been overwhelming, but thanks to their kindness and support, I always felt safe, cared for, and in good hands.
I leave here not only with wonderful memories of Nohga Hotel, but also with a great deal of affection and gratitude for all of you.

Shower pressure and heat was amazing
Location was perfect for site seeing
Morning breakfast was yum
Gym was a nice to have
The rooftop food & drinks were super expensive
Staff weren’t super warm on arrival vs other more authentic Japanese accommodation we stayed in

I appreciate when a hotel is trying to be eco friendly. The bakery was amazing, loved having fresh pastries. Location is good and central. Having a laundry room is a great bonus.
The rooms are tiny and we booked the bigger ones. The toilet and shower are seperate to a sink. The shower had a damp smell constantly. Once our bags arrived the room was claustrophobic. Nothing on TV was in other languages and I really wanted to watch the meditation video. Wouldn’t book again
