Awesome Staff, extremely friendly and helpful. Nice clean but simple rooms. Not many amenities but great hotel for folks who go out and do stuff all day every day. Crescent City is not hopping, but lovely access to the waterfront and the few things to do in town. Great value, would stay there again.
Nothing comes to mind that the hotel has control over.

Ray, he tried so hard to please us.
The room really could use a deep cleaning, lights outside were too bright. Note: they were under new owners.

The staff was very friendly and the rooms , good size and clean. Yes, rooms, plural, we had to be moved. They accepted dogs (huge plus), however, they put us on the second floor. When the dogs needed up at 4am, the commotion to get them leashed, disturbed the down stairs. Suggestion to owner, always put those with dogs/pets on bottom floor and section off certain allowable rooms. You don't want pets in Some rooms as some guests might be allergic. Maybe invest in a few colored towels for use with pets, under food bowls, on floors when they drink, feet after walking. I actually went to the near by grocery outlet to buy some as I didn't want your white ones destroyed.
Very bear minimum, No blow dryers, laundry bags ect. Its fine I brought my own but not everyone will prepare accordingly. Small showers (stall size), hard to shave legs lol. Very little counter space at bathroom sink.
Only one plug at bed. My husband sleeps with a cpap. My thought was what if both slept with one? There would be no place for a second. Phones couldn't be plugged in at bedside, and there were no alarm clocks. Note to owner, the refrigerator in 103 seems to be missing a leg. The microwave sits on top, coffee maker on top of that. The fridge moves quite a bit when opening. Id hate to see the others fall when someone opens the fridge. Additionally, there was only one plug, so you needed to unplug the micro or fridge, to plug in the coffee maker.
Suggestions with the thought these are new owners;
maybe a narrow shelf from bathroom counter over toilet to wall.
Maybe a shelf to hold the micro and coffee maker.
Power strips, one at bed, or run an electrical line behind bed to allow for a second. You should have one at fridge micro, and coffee maker as well.
