Very clean and neat, friendly staff and so close to restaurants and bars.
I’d give it a 10 but my AC remote batteries were dead, so I had to sleep with it on all night the first night, and they did not refill the coffee in the kitchen one day until much later after breakfast time.

The location was perfect for us. We had friends in Mission Hills and also friends in Northpark. We really enjoyed the coffee shop next-door.
The room was very small. The water pressure in the sink and shower were very low. Wall sconce seemed loose and ready to fall.
Parking was very cramped and very difficult to park in and really hard to get out of your car and get back into your car without hitting a door. When we received the request to pay for parking, $25 a day, the request asked if we wanted to tip. That really didn’t make any sense to us.

Everything and everyone! The rooms, amenities and location/proximity to shops, restaurants and local attractions. The staff are outstanding! Thank you Melissa, you were the first person I spoke with before I made my reservation and your warm and welcoming voice made me feel at home and throughout my stay, you provided excellent hospitality. Thank you Lloyd, you do a lot on a daily basis and keep things together, you are a kind and caring person. Dear Luke, you wear different hats, thank you for reprogramming my TV in the middle of the evening. You are multitasking all the time while maintaining a calm demeanour. Carla was also amazing and friendly. Elias works hard all the time. Thank you Team Uptown, you’re the best and each of you made my stay a fantastic one! The wonderful women who clean the rooms and common spaces do a brilliant job, they keep things fresh & clean all the time. During my 3-week visit, I stayed in rooms 616, 605 & 618 and enjoyed nice views.
Please hire someone to back-up front desk staff especially during the evening/overnight shifts. Even if you hire a part-time person so that staff can leave for breaks and step away worrying about coverage. Front desk staff give a lot of energy and should have full breaks.
