Very unique room with lots of equipment

The property was helpfully placed for our South Downs Way walk (just a 20 min bad bit along a main road on the way there: but other than the YHA there were no other options so we were delighted to find this property). The room was lovely, really comfortable bed and bedlinen; and the shower was powerful and warm. 10 mins and £15 each way in a taxi to Lewes for dinner, lots of choice.
I always feel that for the c.40p a few biscuits would cost, it's a shame when hosts don't provide them for guests on arrival, particularly when there are no options nearby to get anything - it's a small thing that (for me!) goes a long way. The hand towel was damp when we arrived so I'm not sure how clean it was. And we were there on a beautiful summer's evening and were just the right temperature: but we couldn't see any radiators, so if booking in winter I would check how it is heated.

I can’t believe we have never come across this lovely place before! Just a few minutes’ drive from Glyndebourne, it offers beautifully furnished individual small barns full of character, with everything we could need for an overnight stay. It is also in lovely countryside and the hosts are very welcoming and friendly.
Nothing at all, although we did have a bit of trouble finding it from the main road…
