The room was fantastic - quiet, cosy. beautifully thought out for guests with a view and an excellent mattress for my back.

Lovely renovation. Room was quirky but well thought out. Comfy bed, sofa, fridge and coffee maker. Nice to have voiles/nets and heavy curtains. Portable air conditioner was a bonus in the heatwave. Nice view through to the terrace at breakfast.

Wonderful historic building with masses of old world atmosphere - wood panelling, sloping floors. Very comfortable beds and bedding. Really good shower. Nice espresso coffee at breakfast. Nice light room for breakfast. Chocs/sweets a nice touch.
Expensive for what it was. Coffee machine but no pods. Breakfast - poor croissant, tough scrambled egg and the toast it was on was brick hard. Serving of toast was very dry. Superficially the hotel had been decorated but when you look all the paintings are just digital prints - couldn't they find any real ones? Room 2 - window was absolutely filthy on the outside, bathroom needs a coat of paint, loo needs a descale.
