Hilton Garden Inn Spokane Airport

Overall, this was a nice hotel in a convenient location, right next to the Rustic Moose Restaurant, which I highly recommend. I also want to recognize the shuttle driver who picked me up. He was truly wonderful, kind, and helpful, and I appreciated that he also assists with hotel processes. However, I do want to offer feedback about an experience that could have been handled with more hospitality and care. While I was getting ready to leave for a Celebration of Life, I cut my finger deeply while using a razor. There was quite a bit of bleeding, and the shuttle driver kindly brought me some Band-Aids. Unfortunately, they were too small to fully cover the cut and manage the bleeding, so I asked for more. At that point, the front desk person seemed annoyed and said, “You can buy the Band-Aids.” As someone who worked for many years as an ER nurse, I understand supplies have limits, but in the moment of blood, pain, and urgency, what a guest needs most is care & responsiveness. I would have been happy to purchase Band-Aids (& I did!), however, I was trying to stop the bleeding and get out the door to a vital event to honor someone I loved who had passed away and thought the hotel was equipped. Hospitality is not only about renting rooms. It is also about how guests are responded to when they need basic assistance. I hope this feedback is received in that spirit. A kind tone and perhaps bringing out a first aid kit too is hospitality - and to count that just as important.

I just like this hotel. Have stayed multiple times and has always been a pleasant stay.

The property was very well maintained. The staff was cordial and very helpful. Will definitely stay here again in the future.
