Location very convenient to old harbor end of Reykjavik, and within walking distance of other big sights. Nice neighborhood for walking around in. Hotel staff very friendly. Convenient restaurant and bar on premises. Room very compact with somewhat inconvenient spaces to put luggage etc. Nice shower with very nice high end Icelandic herb shampoo, conditioner and soap. A real treat.

We arrived quite early and were greeted by friendly staff who did offer us the option of an early check in, as the room was ready, but for an additional fee. (If the room is already made up, this could have been waived). We passed on that and they were happy to look after our bags while we explored the harbour area.
The room was good and the breakfast choice was excellent. Happy hour at the bar was also really good, with friendly and attentive staff.
All round, an excellent hotel and location, with the town centre just a few mins walk away.
Would stay again.
