Unfortunately I stayed on a Monday/ Tuesday when the bar and restaurant are closed so cannot give a review of any amenities. The room key was in a key lock external to the property.
Room was clean and tidy and would definitely stop again but not on the days the bar / restaurant are closed.

The penthouse is a great room, no it's a small apartment!; a fantastic space, well equipped with abundant and great facilities and it has a fantastic terrace with break-taking views. However, it is looking quite tired and there were a few issues, i.e. the freezer wasn't working, so we couldn't make ice. The wine fridge also wasn't working. A couple of lamps need bulbs replacing and the blind doesn't work in the bathroom.

This is an amazing place to stay. All of the rooms are very well presented and the staff are very attentive!! Would highly recommend and Barton on Sea is a beautiful place. Very relaxing 😊
