Near the subway station and coffee shops. Nice location right next to the imperial palace. Smaller sized rooms and bathroom. Basic bathroom accessories but there wasn’t much more in the way of amenities. Full kitchen, but it didn’t seem we could use it and no on site breakfast. It was nice but not overwhelmingly so.

clean and very easy to check in. shuttle service is convenient. Side note: reception desk is not inside Kyoto Station - it's located across the street.

It’s a no staff hostel with only one laundry machine. If anyone need to do laundry, need to go outside to find one. The way they clean the room is also not very thorough. My coffee cups are not washed. Room is very small.
