we really enjoyed the room, it was very comfortable and clean. the bed was nice, the bathroom was clean and comfy
everyone in the reviews refers to the noise during the night, but it's really the least compared to the neighborhood.. Garibaldi is near the central train station of Naples and although it is considered in the centre, it is NOT a safe place to walk after 6 pm. You have to take an Uber every night to go back to the room, as it is frightening to walk around the neighborhood after dark, except Saturday night. A lot of pickpocketing, drug dealing, drug addicts, mountains of garbage every night, all around the streets. You can compare it to Athens' Victoria square. If you don't want to pay 3 Ubers per day (13-17€ each ride after 10pm), you can't return back to the room in the afternoon to relax and get ready for the night, as it is not safe at all. Not the host's fault of course, the location is free for you to see and do your research. But if you want a safe place to stay, Garibaldi is totally not for you. I recommend INSIDE the Centro storico. and then the expensive neighborhoods of chiaia or vomero.
