We couldn't fault it - excellent customer service and friendly front desk/reception and restaurant team who are happy to help you out. Arranging island hopping tours and spa treatments via the front desk was very easy, as well as complimentary breakfast room service via the Restaurant. Everything was explained clearly upon arrival and there is a very informative Guest Handbook in the room.
We were sad to leave our little slice of paradise at the end of our stay!
Many of the negative reviews mention the steepness of the location and the local wildlife. It was a solid quarter of a mile uphill walk to our Lumbung Villa, but well worth it for the views!
Personally, I loved the natural soundscape of the birds and geckos, along with the rain! It's to be expected and adds to the experience.
We had a few infrequent power outages but these were not long in duration due to a back up generator. Again, this is to be expected on the island and not reflective of the quality of the resort.

El hotel ofrece diferentes villas, nosotros estuvimos en la lumbung, una cabaña de madera de dos pisos con grandes ventanales. Nos hizo muy mal tiempo y llovía a ratos intensos, así que pasamos bastante tiempo en la habitación y estuvimos dentro de lo posible bastante cómodos. Por la noche pedimos room service para no mojarnos hasta llegar al restaurante y el servicio fue rápido y perfecto, la comida llegó caliente y estaba buena. El único inconveniente por la noche, a la hora de dormir, fue que se colaba algún lagarto y hacía algún ruidito que te alertaba, además de dejarte algún excremento por el suelo. El baño está en la planta de abajo, y lo cierto es que tener que bajar las escaleras a oscuras y que, además, con maderas que chirriaban, tampoco era muy confortable.
Respecto al desayuno, es a la carta, muy rico y te ponen cantidades correctas, el restaurante está al lado de la piscina, así que las vistas son preciosas. El personal es muy amable pero no estoy muy satisfecha con la coordinación entre departamentos, fallaron en varios detalles. Cuando llegamos la recepcionista nos dijo que nos traían a la habitación unos cócteles de bienvenida pero se olvidaron, al día siguiente se lo recordamos y pudimos disfrutarlos junto a una ración de cortezas, bien. Otro día avisamos de que nos íbamos, que nos hicieran la habitación, pero llegamos a la tarde/noche y sorpresa, también se olvidaron, avisamos a recepción y en minutos nos vino un chico escopeteado, nos cambió toallas y subió a hacernos la cama, pero nada más, no disponía de material para limpiar, fregar, barrer... salió del paso como pudo. Por otra parte, el hotel ofrece un shuttle gratuito a El Nido, lo que no sabíamos es que tienen unos horarios en concreto, así que la primera vez tuvimos que esperar 45 min., no pasa nada. Una vez en el pueblo, para volver tuvimos que esperar a la furgoneta 20 min. que pasaban de la hora que nos habían dicho y el otro día, tras esperar 30 min.
