The property itself is huge and beautiful. Some members of the staff are naturalists and can take you on a night walk tour of the property grounds, which was extraordinary! We say lots of geckos in their prime, a brown fish owl, and a porcupine. A huge shout-out to the restaurant manager for his delicious meals and generosity of spirit... such kindness! The room was huge, comfortable, and felt like a home away from home. There's also a relaxing pool (which was a delightful surprise), and the property leads to a gorgeous lake. The nice, professional managers helped me arrange trips to nearby Buddhist sites, and made me feel truly at home. Overall, this is a spectacular place to stay. Don't hesitate to book!
Honestly, everything was perfect... actually, better than perfect. The only hardship of my visit was the heat, but the hotel was an oasis, with air conditioning and a pool.

The quarters are in a lovely natural area with plenty of interesting plants and wildlife to spot. Nice pool. Excellent Sri Lankan food at the onsite restaurant. Staff were really friendly and very attentive. The on-site night safari was excellent. Located near Lion Rock and Dambulla as well as other cultural sites.

Charmantes petites maisons disséminées dans un beau jardin hyper calme, une belle piscine dans la nature, le chef et ses bons petits plats, la proximité du lac. Un guide spécialiste de la faune vous fait visiter le coin, un peu cher mais ça vaut le coup.
Joli jardin botanique à l’arrière
Le niveau d’anglais du personnel limite parfois les interactions.
Le tarif des activités proposées est un peu élevé

La gentillesse du propriétaire et de son équipe. Nous sommes arrivés en pleine crise touristique et au lendemain de la mise en place de restrictions pour l’essence. Nous avons passés 3 jours magnifiques (Jaffna est proche) et le propriétaire nous a aidé à trouver de l’essence ce qui nous a permis de terminer notre voyage de 2 mois. Malgré la difficulté de la situation, les sourires sont toujours présents.
