Great location. Really friendly staff. The Jam Jar bar and restaurant served delicious food. The rooms were clean and very comfortable with some lovely touches with the treats provided alongside the usual tea and coffee making facilities.
The property is in need of some repairs. The toilet in my room didn’t flush so well and the electric shower was weak. The shower tray was old and stained and with only a shower curtain to pull across, there was a wee bit of flooding. The television in the room didn’t work.

Location lovely, right in the shoreline in a fascinating part of Scotland, lots of WW2 history. Breakfast was really good. Staff friendly and helpful. Bed was comfy with lovely linen and pillows.
The bar area is rustic for sure, not much atmosphere. Evening menu limited and food was OK. Room spacious and well equipped but bathroom could do with a deep clean!
