The exterior is still a bit run down, but the interior of the rooms were really great! Very comfortable, clean, with cool decor. A kitchen even! We stayed in 8, and our daughter stayed in 4. They were both lovely rooms. The location is great - walking distance to the main drag of shops and cafes. And parking is easy, right in front of the rooms. Check in is a code sent for a lockbox, which worked fine. Air conditioning also worked well. See pictures in our review for Room 4.
This is a small thing, but the wifi does NOT really extend to room 8. It's okay in room 4, but room 8 is apparently too far from wherever the wifi is, and so it didn't work for our entire stay. We had cell service, but no wifi (it would log on, but was too weak to even access news). The staff person only responded by email, and just kept telling us to re-log in (which obviously we had done numerous times). Oh well.
